SCARE ME

LYRICS

"For my family, friends and amazing fans. Thank you for your loyal support. I hope this song speaks to you as it has done to me"

I'm afraid of my reflection

I'm afraid that I'm not pretty enough

I'm afraid of being honest

I'm afraid that you won't hear me at all

I lose myself in the fears I've found

There's a voice in my head screaming don't look down

I'm not even sure if I'm ready now

But I don't care I wanna do something that scars me

We'll all afraid of being lonely

We're all so afraid of falling in love

We're too afraid to face the future

Because we don't think that we'll brave enough

I lose myself in the fears I've found

There's a voice in my head screaming don't look down

I'm not even sure if I'm ready now

But I don't care I wanna do something that scars me

I piece myself together

Using smiles using lies using laughter

I don't wanna face my fears

But if I don't then it won't get better

ABOUT BOHDI

New upcoming recording artist Bohdi Rose, is set to take listeners on a musical journey with her emotional ballads and empowered outcries. Drawing from influences such as Nina Simone, Janis Joplin and Led Zeppelin, this husky toned blonde soul sister has fused together a sound of pop, soul and tribal beats, taken from her South African roots. Based in London she was introduced to music at just eight years of age and spent her childhood exploring her vocal talents, songwriting and teaching herself piano. Through her music, Bohdi has discovered her own healing whilst battling the giant of depression and she aspires that the message of her songs will deliver an anthem of hope for those in similar struggles.
